Candystripers

Young men and women who are at least 14 years old and in ninth grade are given the opportunity to learn about the many different departments in a hospital and obtain exposure to its internal workings. The candystriper experience can also provide opportunities for setting goals and planning for a future career.

One of the goals of the program is to help create self-worth and experience personal satisfaction as these young men and women give their time and talents in service to others.
